Building Better Men mentees were recently the recipients of top of the line Nike bags, school supplies and Microsoft Surface Pro laptops, provided to them by Detroit Lion’s quarterback Matt Stafford and the SAY Detroit foundation. As schooling and other programs have had to go virtual due to Covid 19, this is allowing our mentees the technology required for their virtual technology classes. Additionally, Mr. Stafford spent time to speak and inspire the B2M mentees.
SAY Detroit is a supporter of the B2M program and provides classroom space for our programs at its SAY Detroit Play Center at Lipke Park. This after-school programs works with students commited to earning a 3.0 GPA and provides first-rate academic, athletic & arts programs in partnership with Detroit’s major sports teams.
